I was blessed and burdened with an overly analytical mind. I think through as many possibilities for a situation as I can. Then I follow each out a period of time, sometimes years. The problem with that is a lot, if not most, of the time it causes me to hesitate when making decisions that normal people would just make or that need to be made. I have missed opportunities for friendships, careers and relocation due to the storms raging in my mind. Fortunately, I have an anchor that ties me down to the present and over the years I have learned to rely on that anchor. Flaky: Flaw of an Introvert
All of my research about blogging has told me to write about what I know and after writing my first post on introverts, I realized that introvert is something I really know. In that post I highlighted some of the benefits of being an introvert, in this post I am goign to focus on one of the downsides: Being Flaky.
Life As An Introvert
I don’t know the statistics but for the purpose of this post I am going to use my own made up numbers; 50 percent of the population has a condition and that condition is being an introvert. What is an introvert? “Introvert: A term introduced by the psychologist Carl Jung to describe a person whose motives and actions are directed inward. Introverts tend to be preoccupied with their own thoughts and feelings and minimize their contact with other people.” Blah-dy blah blah. Now let me break down what an introvert really is…okay its a lot like that but let me simplify things.
